Dr. Hamilton and Dr. Biggerstaff are board certified physicians with Follicles Hair Loss Clinic and are leaders in hair restoration. They have helped men & women regain their confidence and youthful appearance since 1999 by performing their unsurpassed methods of follicular unit restoration. Both have been selected as “Top Docs” by the Indianapolis Monthly magazine.

Richard Biggerstaff MD, FACS is a board certified facial plastic surgeon. He received his medical degree and completed his otolaryngology residency at Indiana University School of Medicine and received his Otolaryngology Board Certification in 1984. He increased his training further by completing a Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship, and received his Board Certification from the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in 1992. He is also a 2010 pending member of the International Society of Hair Restoration Specialists (ISHRS). He has also been inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honorary Society.

In addition, Dr. Biggerstaff is an associate clinical professor at Indiana University School of Medicine and serves as the Community Hospital Pro Health Credentials Committee Chairman. He is trained in the most up to date hair restoration procedures, and has over 25 years of experience in helping people achieve the best outcome possible in hair replacement. He has given multiple and varied presentations on a variety of plastic surgery techniques and procedures both to his peers as well as to the general public since 1985.

Dr. Biggerstaff is active in giving back to the community, and in 2007 received a Marion County Project Health Hero award.

Mark Hamilton MD, FACS specializes solely in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Indiana University where he also received his MD degree. He received a merit-based scholarship while in medical school and was recognized nationally for his research. He completed his residency in Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery at St. Louis University, and followed this by completing a Facial Plastic Surgery fellowship through Indiana University. Dr. Hamilton is board certified by both the American Board of Otolaryngology and the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

As a recognized leader in his field, Dr. Hamilton has authored multiple publications and lectured widely to his colleagues on all aspects of facial plastic surgery. In 2005, he was selected by his peers as one of Indianapolis Monthly Magazine’s “Top Docs” in his field. He is actively involved at the IU School of Medicine in resident teaching and is a clinical assistant professor there. He has also served in a variety of leadership roles in the American Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery and presently sits on the board of directors of the Indianapolis Medical Society.

Dr. Hamilton has donated his time and support to many charitable organizations including the Julian Center, Nathan’s Battle, and Project Health. He also continues to provide surgery for victims of domestic violence through the Face To Face program.

In addition, Dr. Hamilton has performed multiple pro bono makeovers including the 2004 Fox 59 Circle City Swan Makeover, the 2005 Inside Edition Extreme Makeover, and the 2006 Indianapolis Woman Dream Makeover.

Hamilton Facial Plastic Surgery operates two separate offices with one in Greenwood and another in Carmel. Each is fully staffed and ready to serve you. For surgical procedures not performed in the office, Dr. Hamilton also sees patients at the outpatient surgery centers, Community Surgery Center South, Franciscan Surgery Center South and Meridian Plastic Surgery Center.

Dr. Patel is a board-certified head and neck surgeon with specialty training in facial cosmetic and reconstructive surgery and is committed to the delivery of high quality and compassionate patient care. He is a native of Indiana and after graduating from the Indiana University School of Medicine, he completed his residency training at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. To further his skills and knowledge, he followed his residency training by completing a prestigious American Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery Fellowship at the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. While in St. Louis, Dr. Patel spent time with some of the leaders in the field of facial plastic surgery honing his skills in both cosmetic and reconstructive facial surgery.

His clinical interests include medical and surgical hair restoration, cosmetic rhinoplasty, revision rhinoplasty, eyelid surgery, and both minimally invasive and invasive facial rejuvenation procedures.
